Dr. Rhea Waldman is a scientist, strategist, and passionate science communicator dedicated to helping people and organizations thrive. With over a decade of experience studying bat flight, Rhea began her career in academia before transitioning to the nonprofit sector in 2017. She served as Executive Director of the South Dakota Discovery Center for 5 years, where she led transformative initiatives that expanded the center’s role as a hub for curiosity, learning, and community engagement.
Now, as MaxStrat’s resident Happiness and Innovation Architect, Rhea blends strategy, science, and a touch of sparkle to drive impactful change. She brings a research-informed mindset to everything from visionary planning to operational transformation, guiding teams through growth and helping them unlock their full potential. Equal parts scientist and strategist, Rhea turns big ideas into meaningful, real-world impact—all while keeping people at the heart of the process.
