Nathan Augspurger
Vice President, Animal Nutrition and Health - United Soybean Board
Nathan joined USB in 2025 and serves as the Vice President, Animal Nutrition and Health, working to implement USB strategy for value creation of soybean meal in livestock nutrition and production. Hailing from a farm background in central Illinois, Nathan earned graduate degrees in monogastric nutrition from the University of Illinois and then worked for United Animal Health in swine and poultry nutrition research and technical service in varying roles for 16years. He then led a product development team at Elanco in livestock feed additives for three years and then for a start-up, BiomEdit, in livestock feed additive and vaccine development for another three years, prior to joining USB.
