Meet the Speakers

Amber Turner

Amber Turner

Communications Coordinator Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences
Amber Turner is the Communications Coordinator for South Dakota State University’s College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds a B.S. in Communication Studies and Marketing and an M.A. in Communication and Media Studies from SDSU. Along with her work in college communications, she teaches CMST 101: Fundamentals of Speech and MCOM 219: Social Media Strategies, bringing applied experience into the classroom. Amber has a strong background in digital marketing, brand storytelling, and strategic communication. She is the recipient of the Central States Communication Association Pamela J. Cooper Award and was selected as SDSU’s commencement speaker in 2020.
